Day Eleven

So last night I started thinking of the number 1 Trillion. Its hard to just picture it. Here it is 1,000,000,000,000. Not too intimidating. Until you think of some of the other analogies. I looked some up and the one that stands out to me is this. If you had a stack of crisp brand new $1000 bills and you started stacking them not lining them up but stacking them one on top of the other. Your stack would be over 68 miles high. Let's put that in terms Delaware can understand. You could start a journey in Wilmington and have that same stack alongside the road laying on its side (not the bills but the stack) and drive to Milford De and that same stack of $1000 bills would be stacked alongside the road the entire trip. It's staggering to think in terms of trillions, almost impossible to comprehend in reality because you dont actually see trillions of anything. Even the late Carl Sagan only referred to Billions and Billions of stars. I don't think it matters today if you are liberal or conservative a trillion has to set some sort of pucker factor. I think that if you really examine it the two major parties are taking us to the same place they are just taking different roads to get there. I believe its time to stop and get off the Demlicans bus and go back to our "home", remember that, the home of the brave. A place that is founded in the Constitution and has freedom and liberty for all. Principal not partisan voting will save us.
